A Covid-19 Reflection Inspired By My First Longer Walk Outside After Six Weeks of Quarantine

Monday April 27, 2020

I went for an early-morning walk on my first day out of the house after almost 6 weeks of obligatory quarantine in Colombia. How I enjoyed my 1 hour of allowed exercise, breathing deeply, delighting in the views and the colors around me, taking pictures of the smallest of lovely wild flowers I was seeing as if for the first time.

And I remembered Jesus words: If God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, He will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? ~Matthew 6:30

And my heart was strengthened with truth, with hope and with courage that, come what may, my heavenly Father is watching out for and taking care of me.
